REVIEW: Ten Children’s Books Featuring Cats

As part of Rainy and I participating this spring in the Lincoln Public Library’s Read to a Dog program, I borrowed a sampling of the library’s cat books, including ten children’s books featuring cats. What follows are my reviews of them. Mr. Putter and Tabby Turn the Page by Cynthia Rylant tops my list. This realistic chapter book tells the story of an older gentleman and his cat.
