Molly Hoffmann called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm
Scott Besch gave a report on the hearings held on LB 677, LB 241 and LB 588 in the Nebraska Legislature’s Agriculture Committee. These bills affect laws related to Commercial Breeding, Pet Stores and Boarding. Scott testified on behalf of Italian Greyhound Rescue.
Molly introduced Committees and their Chairs and asked people to sign up to serve on committees. Send an e-mail to lincolnanimalambassadors@gmail.com if you would like to serve on a committee.

Committee will organize a trip to the NE Humane Society on Feb. 15 or 22. contact Molly at chicadogrunner@yahoo.com if you want to go. Plans underway for a future trip to Kearney Humane Society.
Advocacy: Pauline Balta
Advocating animal issues in the NE Legislature and other government bodies.
Community Outreach: Mary Douglass, Chair
Assistance for elderly and disabled Possible work with feral cats
Communication: Tammie Lang, Chair Website Newsletter Information in various publications
Finance: Geanine Bordogna, chair
